I want a free horse box too !!.....

Cynical I know but What's to say they aren't going get all this 'free' stuff then sell it on for some cash? if it is sincere then it's bad that they lost their stuff but really, asking for free everything is a big ask, not to mention cheeky as

"I am unable to pay as me and my partner have put all our money into house renovation!"

Hahaha, I'd probably be able to renovate my house if I got everything for my horse for free. Maybe I'd feel a bit for her if it was due to illness, redundancy or something like that.

I would like a free horse van that I can drive on a car licence, brand new, all mod cons and a full winter wardrobe for my horse. And some clippers. Anybody?

I suppose if you don't ask you don't get????????

What a blooming cheek though. The best bit was definitely about having the trailer delivered as no tow bar, I'm surprised they didn't ask for a 4x4 as well!

I get emails from a local free cycle group and the wanted ads people post on there are staggering, you do have to admire their cheek though.

Those things are exactly what makes me think they're going to sell everything on crimbowitch! If they were for real horses in need you'd specify which sizes you needed!

Very cheeky!

How are they planning on doing the yard move that they need the trailer for if they don't have a tow bar! I would have thought the more polite request if they are genuine would be to ask for a lift.

Please can someone give me a free jackpot winning lottery ticket :-D

following on from the earlier eBay thread, perhaps once obtained these folks will buy similar items on eBay in better condition then try and pass off the older ones as what was received to obtain a partial refund.

This does rather sound like a scam to me. Unless it is a letter to Santa which was accidentally put on the internet?

Our horses are cold.... Maybe take them in doors.....if the house is that good then room for the horses.

I could never leave my lot cold..... Choices us or the horses... Could not sleep if mine were not happy

i have the urge though to email and say i have a brand new equitreck i dont really need anymore does she want it??
:D

LOL! Not just me then curious to know exactly what she thoguht she could get for being so cheeky.

I was puzzled by the need for trailer to be delivered as no towbar, how was she planning the yard move? Also why did she own a trailer to be loaned and then stolen if they couldn't tow it, even if it was being used for storage of the rugs etc you would surely remove them before lending it out as I presume the borrower would want to travel horses in it.

Too many inconsistencies in the story for me. Sounds like a scam IMO.
