Been helping a lady at the yard with her gorge 14.2 cob - he's a bit naughty and has bucked her off a few tiems.

We've been having a wail of a time - such a cutey.....and once he had a smack he gave up bucking.

Think I want a pony now! Funny how when you're not far up you don't give a toss what happens....ha haaaaaa

Ponies rock!!

I have a pony now as well as my 16.2 TB and she is such fun. She jumps without making a huge fuss about it and you never feel worried about what might happen.

A big confidence booster!!

Think that's what it is!

although saying that Oscar is an uncomplicated jumper etc so need to start viewing him as more of a pony in a 16.1 TB's tracksuit!

This is one reason why I'm soooooo glad I'm only scraping 5ft & regular weight is about 6 stone. I can ride ponies & not look out of place on them!!!

Horses however, well, pea on drum comes to mind

Ponies are soooo much fun! I had a horse but we just weren't right for each other, so I sold him and got my 14.1hh coblet and he is a superstar

Last night we were cantering through a long, deep puddle in the school as fast as possible, with him trying to make as much splash as possible, and me trying not to laugh too much in case I got a mouthful of dirty water

I prefer big horses personally. Not sure why, but they just seem so much more gracious, and beautiful. Ofcourse there are ponies out there just as pretty, but i much prefer horses. And my feet would be on the floor if i rode a pony.. LOL

I like most horses, whether they are large or small

I have had both horses and ponies and decided that I prefered to ride ponies so that's why I got my wonderful Highland. My instructor says that she wishes Nelly was a tiny bit bigger because it would make for a more elegant picture but I don't care. We both have short hairy legs and that's just the way it is

My friend has had a variety of different horses over the years but is currently having the time of her life on her 14.2 Welsh Sec D - she is shaping up to be her favourite horse ever.

I ride my 14hh pony but will want something slightly bigger next time, prob 15hh at the most - mostly due to the fact that I'm always worrying about my weight

After loosing my nerve on my 16.2 IDxTB I bought a 14.3 connemara and have had the time of my life on him - he's a naughty tyke but being close to the ground i don't care... now riding a wonderful 14.1hh newfie whilst mine is out of work - i think its the best thing about being only 5"4 - give me a cheeky pony any day!!!

See I couldn't trade my TB's for ponies. They sometimes scare me to death, and occasionally get near to a trip to potters but I do love em.....one day though I'll have a little connie cross to have fun on

I have two - they officially belong to my kids but they are ace fun to muck around on

I'm fairly pint-sized myself, so fit them nicely

One of them has a bit of buck in him and the other goes like stink if you let her. Our first pony is so naughty it's a wonder my two didn't give up altogether the merry dance she led them.
Me on the 13.2 -
