It's good thing to train a horse to do. I did that with my old horse that my unhorsey OH used to ride occasionally. It is actually quite easy to teach them that if balance is lost just to stand. If he felt you bailing out to the side he would sometimes swing his bum over and 'catch' you :) I miss that boy.

The other was on my FB account as I'd recorded it off the telly. I was that impressed I rewound it (Sky+ :wub:) and recorded it on my phone

i love bronte she may not be a novice ride out hacking as can spook a lot but i often have massive bruises on my breasts that people ask about lol. often we will be flying along and she will spook (stop dead for a stride sometimes spin) but as soon as she feels me fall forward she wacks her head up and pushes me back in the saddle she may be a firey little thing for a cobby mountain and moorland pony but always looks after me. stops if people loose their balence spesh little kiddies (who only ride her in the school and she looks after them turnes into an absolute school mistress) and wont run off or go at any great pace if she knows there nervouse

ah do you know what i love my fluffy pony so much just want to go feed her a carrot and have a big cuddle now i know im lucky to still have my first pony and thank them above for every day i am privaliged to enjoy that black hairy fuzz ball

haha lol they are normaly from my collar bone down in a line so can see them with most tops havent got a new one at the mo as pony been resting for a week so almost bruise less wont have her any other way at least she tries to take care of me when she has done something stupid maby i should just start bridging my reins
