I want some rain

It has now just started to rain torrentially near High Wycombe. Great because my grazing really, badly needs it! But why oh why couldn't it hold off for just half an hour so that I could go for a lunchtime leg stretch outside of the office first?

Really? He said he wasn't that bothered when I saw him a few weeks ago. He even said he had some of last years left (unlike anywhere else around us) We never buy in bulk though. He just drops of a small amount every couple of weeks.

Noone in our area is letting people buy in bulk (or all the hay they'll need for winter)
 
We got a delivery last week and he said all of last years has gone and so we bought some that we can't use yet just to start us off for the winter, but its no where near what we'll need overall.

I can't blame him though he must have everyone asking for it and its only fair we all get some as opposed to a few people buying up the whole lot.

I am now looking out on blue sky again so no rain. I so hope it comes later.

well could the ones who had aload possible send it my way , its been dry for months all weve had is a 10 min last wk , it was suppose to rain today , heavy showers they predidiced , all we got was a 2 sec slatter . and im in mid kent

We are in the same situation near Oxford. It looks are like the Sahara than an English paddock. I have already had to move their horses onto their winter grazing fields as the summer fields are completely bald and dusty.

We had some rain earlier this morning - ony the third time since May but we needs MORE.
 
god we can never win we moan when it cold and horrible ,then we moan when we havnt had no rain for our grazing , but i do hope i have so rain , ithnk if it ever does i be going out and sing the song singing in the rain , do you think that will keep it going ?
 
I have thunder and pouring with rain again! Sorry LHS! Maybe it will pass over you this time? I had blue sky half hour ago.
 
well update on the weather here in kent . its was about 1hr torential downpour , thunder and lightening , and a power cut which has just resumed , so all in all , ive had my share ha ha

Just moved my boys into the last paddock full of fresh green grass not very long tho.
