Just a bit of a moan really, sorry :o

My horse has been retired and we don't know how long he will have before we have to say goodbye :(So silly me thought I'd have a nose online to see what horses are out there and how much they're going for these days (it's 14 years since I bought a horse). I saw a horse and I fell in love with it. I want him.

I can't afford another horse but once I get an idea in my head it takes forever to leave. I keep thinking about this horse and how great he looks. It's doing my head in! I've seen a couple of similar posts on here recently so I know I'm not alone feeling like this but it's so annoying!

hmmmm, just rememberJoanne that you cannot trust ANYTHING you read online and many sellers are just out to palm something off. Before I get shot down, I know there are lots of genuine people out there too, but just assume this one is nothing like as described and it will be a lot easier to let it go!

I'm in the same position, retired my horse of a lifetime back in October after 20 years. Can't afford another from noth money and time perspectives.
I'm really starting to miss the riding part of horse owning. Did think of going for a few lessons but don't really want to be taught by anyone other then my own trainer and she doesn't have a horse she could teach me on.

I thought about lessons too... but at the minute I just want to ride my own horse (which I can't). I am going to ride another horse at the stables for a bit but it's not the same :( And I don't want to get too attached to this other horse because he's not mine and could be put out on loan or sold. Hugs!

One of the reasons I like the look of this horse online is his face (I know, very silly reason!) but it really reminds me of my current horse. He has such a kind looking face. I never thought I'd see another horse with such a sweet babyish face as mine (despite him being 18.) The vet didn't believe me when I told him how old he was! Bless.
