I love the gypsy way of life, apart from the 'having to have children and women clean the caravan' bit.
I love their dresses, ESPECIALLY their horses and their lifestyle.

I'd love to travel on the back of a cart with a lovely gypsy cob pulling it.
Aaah we can dream ey? :}

Sorry pointless post really!

Yes, i'm expecting critisism.

No not weird, my auntie does our family history and we think we've got Romany ancestors, possibly were the horsey genes come from? :p

That's amazing! :D
I love them, people are like 'they're horrible' and i'm like 'nooo'. I love their lifestyle, apart from the grabbing, children and caravan cleaning' hehe.
They seem so carefree and easy going!

The lack of showers and baths would get to me :(

But the thought of wandering the countryside in a little caravan being pulled by our lovely cob without a care in the world is a pleasant thought :)

If I could afford a wee gypsy cob and a small cart/trap and harness I sure as hell would!!

But I have no land or money for anything. ALTHOUGH! I do have driving experience. :D

Traditional gypsy - yes, wonderful!
Modern 'traveller' - erm, nope. I couldn't stand to be a woman in that community, popping a sprog out every year, and having to ask my husbands permission to do anything? No thanks! Also, I totally couldn't see myself getting married wearing a giant Jordan-esque dress!!! Lol

Like the care free lifestyle, looking like a pineapple at my wedding, NO :)

BTW we did my family tree, I it appears we are Irish romanies :)

( although how that is proven, is beyond my intelligence :o )
