i want to buy a longhaired mini dachshund puppy!

my riding instructor has 3....and i want one! but there dont seem to be very many around, does anybody know of any good breeders? i have sent off a few emails, as i will be looking to get one around january time. how much money am i going to have to save?!?!?!??!

My next door neighbour has one called Midget. I have never met such a serious dog.

They are generally good natured dogs, and more 'proper' terriers than the smooth haired variety. My mother in law is looking for one, the prices we have found start at £850!!!!!!!!
