Hmmm sat here plotting a plan.... still cant get a hat on my head after it having an argument with a windscreen 2 and a half weeks ago! Think it may be a case of wolly hat followed by large riding hat! I need/want to sit on my horse!

My saddle is away getting repaired so I can't ride atm either, though I did sit on bareback today, with a friend walking beside us just in case!
The weather has been perfect for hacking the last few days which is even more annoying.
 
It could be worse. What with her health problems and mine, aside from a little bit of light hacking, I've hardly ridden properly since Be first went wrong 18 months ago. Now she is a write off

I was wondering why you couldn't wear a hat. Hope you're ok and your head feels better soon. Must be very painful

I had stitches in my temple right where my hat sits 18 months ago and ended up putting a bandage around my head and using an adjustable poly hat over the top as I couldn't get my normal hat on - it looked very attractive

I had the saddle fitter coming and my piccies of my first ride on my then new horse show this arrangement. I would adjust the hat as wide as it would go, put it on my head and then tighten it up with the dial at the back, wasn't great but was better than nothing!
