Had that happen to me 2 years ago. Nice canter along the river and then down she went. Often think about her as she was only 7

Oh no Quadro, so sorry you had it happen too. The shock was dreadful, it was the only time in my life that I can remember not wanting to get out of bed. My vet at the time phoned me the next day (it was a weekend so she was not working that day) to say it had happened to her when she was young and to offer me some reassurance because she still remembered how awful it had been.
And your poor girl. Milieu was 12, no hint of a problem ?

My first mare. I wasn’t sure at all about taking the plunge - I’d never even ridden a mare I liked before - but I’m so glad I went for it. She’s worth her weight in gold.
