I want to write a blog . . .

I have one that my mare "writes". ......

My mare applied to be a member of the Parish Council! Me and her often used to stop at the Notice Board and one time their was an open invitation to - residents, over 21, with an interest in local affairs - so I looked down at her big eyes and said "well, that's you!"
So the whole yard laughed when we had the application form "signed" by one her big front paws - we all thought she could bring a lot of horse sense to the committee.

We never got a reply but later on had rather a snooty letter about Horseypeople letting their mounts foul the footpaths - so my mare sent them a reply saying that they should be lucky that's the only place it went.

Our charity blog is written by our resident mule, and he got to the UK Blog award finals last year. It had to go to a public vote to get to the finals and it is extremely competitive with professional marketing bloggers. We did though get thousands of votes and overtook some of the professional bloggers who didnt reach the final. We were the only equine related entry. Lots of work but great fun.

Ah... interesting - your horse is a good looking chap - a friend used to breed Trakehners http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/muschamp+danube her stallion now departed. Bit of advice - rewrite your "Sponsorship" page - never use the phrase "if you are interested"- complete turn off, it's what the advertising industry call a closed question. Be more positive :- "I'm actively looking" - "your company would benefit" etc.,

Good Luck.
Thank You, always open to advice. I love trakehners :)
