Hey guys!
Well, I had a very sleepless night! Emotions going from pure bliss to terror and back again!
Woke up early and went to get my friend so we could ride

I had to do lots of jobs before I could see him, which was like torture!! I just wanted to give him a cuddle!!!
I finally got them done and I grabbed my rope and went to get him. He was such a good boy! I tack up, got on and left the yard (I admit, my friend went out on her horse first, so he did have someone to follow!)
He was fab all the way round I think he knew I was extra happy today!

When we got back, we saw YO and I gave her a card and thanked her. I gave her a hug and she burst into tears and had to go back inside.
Truth be told, the reason she gave Ned to me is because she's leaving. The yard is being taken over by another lovely woman, who's helped run it before, so I won't be left totally to my own devices as a new owner!! I will still get all the help I need.
She could have just left Ned in the care of this other woman, but she wanted me to have him, because she knows how much I care for him and she trusts me to always look after him and treat him like the special pony he is!

I'll always stay in contact and she's just an email/text/phone call away...but I've known her for 13+ years. She helped me get back into riding when I thought I never even wanted to touch a horse again.

I didn't want to leave him, but I had to get back, as I share a car with Mum and she needed it.

Very mixed emotions today!
