I was thinking of putting my last rescue on bakers puppy!!

One of these, seeing as none of you are playing my game!!! :p

New game....anyone know what it is?! :D (I do obviously!)

You see them at crufts hen? Lush weren't they! They are sooooooooo vizzy like, just a different colour and with more hair, F can be off with other breeds but was drawn to them and them to her. They even make Vizzy noises which are very unique!

Yup, my Mum was on the Irish Water Spaniels Discover Dogs stand and they were just up from them.
They are booooootiful, I love love love the colour.

Oh I have Vizsla plans coming out of my ears...our next will be a vizz (one of Flora's pups) And I may have a vizsla coming over from Aus for a lend for a while in 2011 (he may possibly end up siring my litter as well)
So in reality it will be a while but we definately will get a slovakian rough haired pointer eventually! :D

I'm just a bit scared of HPRs, wouldn't have a clue what to do with one, but I really really really want one! Especially a Large Munsterlander, I completely fell in love with them at Crufts - It's just a big Otto. I will always have a Springer though :D

But HPRs are all crazed loons, aren't they?? :p

LOL Cayla...no they are not the same as GWP's they are alot like wire vizzies though in a different colour :p They have that really unique thing about them that the vizslas have, hard to explain! LOL
Don't be scared of HPR's hen! EMBRACE THE HPR's!!! ;) Yes they are crazed loons to be fair but I do reckon if you can live happily with a springer then you can manage one of the more intellegent HPR breeds too. I don't know where munsterlanders come on the HPR intellegence scale though! They are addictive though, be warned!! :p

Did you see the stand for the Munsterlanders?? They had a big poster with the slogan 'Could you live with Muddy Maddie?' and a picture of a dog covered in mud, it was dripping off it :D I was smitten the second I saw it :D

Hmm also says weims are versatile and capable! Not that I dislike weims you understand but they are widley regarded as one of the least trainable, most stupid of the HPR's to work with....spins come a close second!

How is Bud doing Cayla? Have the meds restored him to full nuttyness yet?!

Very odd, he did relapse and was back to is paralysed state, then we upped the meds and he was doing fab, then he developed pneumonia (due to the megaoesophagus) so on anti b's now, thats seems to have cleared nicely, so there is a stronger med but we have to wait till we are clear for pneumonia as it's a immune supressant, so sort of getting there....but far from normal:(

I can see why you want a munsterlander, you have a thing for black and white anythings don't you! LOL I will ask my trainer if he's worked with one (you may not like his reply, he is fairly anti HPR although Flora has converted him to Vizslas!) :p :D

Oh poor little Bud, he really is having a rough time isn't he :( Must be really stressful for you. I hope he picks up again soon.

It seems I do, which is odd considering I didn't like B&W Spaniels as we had one when I was little that hated me!

Have just been looking on their Breed Club website, they have lots of Field Trials, Working Tests and Natural Aptitude Tests so I may have to trot along to one of those at some point.

Ooooo how exciting...although of course I think if you want an HPR you should have a vizz obviously! But I do think having Otto and a bigger Otto would be fab!! I want to see those piccies of little and large working together! You realise you will get nob heads out and about aking you if they are mum and baby! :p :D
