i went hunting - and survived!

Took horsey hunting for the first time today - was amazing, the best blast ever! She was as good as gold, didnt mind horses cantering up behind her/cantering off so she couldnt see them, she wasnt even that strong.She found the 45 minute waits boring tho - and we had some speedy backward nap things but nothing draedful!

I was really surprised how friendly everyone was and no one laughed when horsey wasnt perfect and how actually do able hunting is - it isnt as scary as i thought!

Here are some pics, yes i know my tacks a state, was slightly over bitted/nosebanded, will tame it down next time.

Oakhamptom, but she's come up from a private yard in cornwall somewhere. I can't really remember precisely. i'm very jealous though i really want to go hunting!!

Ah that looks fantastic! I'm slightly jealous now, your horse is gorgeous. Are they still autumn hunting? It looks quite early in the morning.
