If she washed those rugs and assembled them in some sort of order I am sure she would sell a few. Why does she take such dirty broken things? Some of the stuff was worse than stuff I would throw out (and I'm a big hoarder!). It's an experience alright but I don't think I will be going again!
 
Good old catlips. I haven't been to that place for years. Are there still hundreds of saddle in there????? She has got so much stuff in there she cant know what she's got.

I was there and bought a saddle from them on saturday! No change there either!

Yes stacks and stacks of them all going moudly!! She did actually turn a saddle away while I was there saying that she had so many if she bought any more she wouldn't be able to get in her house.

And that lovely house just going to ruin!! Such a shame. She would sell so much more if she had a proper shop and let people handle the merchandise and look round as then you see things that you want. Standing there trying to remember what you want to buy it tricky!
 
well I havent been for about 10 years and it is obviously just the same. You never have to be in a hurry when you go there, as if there is a queue it all takes forever, as they trot up and down stairs to get news things for people. Great value to recycle old things though, you can take virtually anything and she will give you credit against other things. And sometims they have some quite good makes in new - thermatex, caldene etc. Bet the VAT man has a fit if he ever visits!!!
 
She does fine. I have been going there for nearly 30 years. You just need to time your visits. And in the room on the left you can get some fantastic bargains if you have a good hunt around.
 
I had a quick look in the room but it is piled so high with dirty smelly rugs in no order at all they would have to be free before I would have a rumage!
