I went to Holkham beach on Wed- horseless :( !!

It was so depressing, seeing all the boxes and numerous horses! Was so tempted to stop a rider and ask if I could hop on for a quick canter, but reckoned was probably a bit too cheeky!!! I love riding on the beach but as some may know (previous thread) my TB doesn't tie up and would get his knickers in a very big knot and I also couldn't take him away from my companion horse without them both freaking!! To all those who get to ride on the beach, you're so lucky! Hopefully if I do find another exracer, who will travel/hack alone, I may see you there sometime on board!!
 
Galloping on Holkham beach has to go down as one of the highlights of my life. Everyone should do it! And hacking back through the naturist dunes is very amusing! CeeBee - I used to holiday at Little lodge farm - hoping to go again next year, stunning riding!
 
I want to go riding on the beach! I put a post up a couple of weeks ago asking for suggestions of where to go (West UK, sort of north Wales, Merseyside area ideally) and didn't get any responses :(

I'd love to do it, looks like so much fun!

You can ride one of my idiots there in the winter if you want, nothing like getting pee'd off with down Holkham beach in the wind and snow, I'll gladly sit at home with my hot chocolate in front of the fire! :D
 
Absolutely love riding at Holkham but bl--dy hell it's gone up in price to go. £12 to park and not just £12, £12 in ONLY £1 coins...always end up scraping a load together!

Sorry for the late reply! I'd love to get pee'd off with on Holkham beach! I have two idiots myself but no transport at the moment so can't take them although they'd probably kill me!! If you ever need a hand just let me know, I'd be happy to oblige!!!!! :)
