At least yours turned up, i ordered an exercise rug was given 3 different delivery dates and then told they weren’t getting any more in. She then said could she offer me an alternative I asked what alternatives she had and she said they are have some heavy weight turnout rugs in the sale WTF.

I ordered it from Ride away and it has arrived this morning (only ordered it on Wednesday).

33 days and counting for my turnout boots, 2 emails asking where they are, 1 sent a week ago,and then resent 3 days ago - nothing, nadda, nowt!!

Never used DH but have used Rideaway - always very good service!

Ditto the above also Robinsons is also good. Heard alot of negative things about DH

I wouldn't buy a bra from a saddler!!! I'd buy one from a bra specialist!!!

Seriously try bravissimo or fig leaves or M&S. I always think that the ones in the horsey catelogues look rubbish compared to Berlei, Freya, Pure Lime etc. M&S normally have some decent ones at good prices too.

I ordered some Mountain Horse boots from them. When I ordered them they had a deal on them, although they tried to charge me the full price. Then admittedly, they weren't in stock (Website showed a 7/10 day delivery), but was told because they were coming from Sweden they couldn't give me a definite delivery date!!
I chased them once a week, and finally got them 3 weeks later. They were worth the wait though!!

I can honestly say I have NEVER had a problem with them at all, I ordered some stable bandages and a sheepskin half pad two weeks ago, selected the normal delivery which said 2-4 days and low and behold it turned up 3 days later

maybe its just the area i live in, another girl at my yard uses them too and never has a problem either.

I will never use them again either!
I ordered a coat from them beginning of December for my xmas present. They sent the wrong size, sent it back they won't refund my postage even though it was their mistake. they kept telling me it was instock, then it was out of stock, then they werent getting any more in but I can have refund vouchers etc. After lots of phone calls and me kicking up a fuss with the manager I FINALLY got my coat last week (half expected it to be in the wrong size and wrong colour).

I had finally got through to the manager after it being sent to the wrong address for a third time, she said my new address wasn't on the system but she will change it and will send it out, even though I had rung 10 times over 3 weeks and spoken to 10 different people and they said they had all changed my address no problems. GRRRRR

Never deal with them again, it's just not worth the hassle.

If I ever order from DH I always ring up to see if they have it in stock first - gives me a fighting chance lol!

How frustrating for you!

As Katty said aswell - try a proper bra shop for a sports bra. Bravissimo are very good and efficient.

Bra retailers tend to have a more sympathetic returns policy too as they understand how difficult it can be to get the right size first time. They have greater choice and better advice normally too!

I've used them a few times, only a bit of a delay on an exercise sheet I ordered - was getting worried it wouldn't come but then it arrived - and it was on the midweek madness so I expect there were a lot of orders that day.
Also used Rideaway and never had any problems

I'd never had a bad experience with DH having used them many times over the years but then ordered 2 nuumed numnahs and three pairs of different gloves, all of which were supposedly in stock on New Years Eve. The Roeckl XC gloves and thermal liners arrived in three days, numnahs arrived separately two weeks later and two days apart and I'm still waiting for my SealSkin gloves.

I sent them a very arsey email complaining about the wait before the numnahs arrived and they did ring and leave an apologetic voice mail giving ETAs but the sealskinz were meant to be in stock on 26th Jan but I 'm staill waiting.

Grrrr, rant over!

Derby House are just awful, i've had so many late deliveries from them.. often they wont even send them, jsut leave me hanging for months and then say its not in stock anymore!

They used to be very good but have declined badly over the last couple of years. Had the same problems as others had said here, I get annoyed when they don't bother to communicate when there are delays............an email costs nothing!

I hope that those of you that have had probs with them have told them that you won't be using them again. I did, politely and firmly, that I thought their customer service was rubbish and have never used them since.

Derby house really have gone downhill. They never say when things are out of stock, and i reckon they make money by people ordering things and then forgetting about them when they haven't turned up 6 months later. Crap service, they need to pull their act together.

I keep getting delivery texts from them - and I've not ordered anything from them in years. I can't reply to the texts so poor so-and-so who is waiting for their stuff probably misses the delivery. Ho hum. Tis not good.

I ordered a bit on 3rd January, website said "delivery 5-7 business days". On 20th January (13 business days later) when it still hadn't arrived, I rang them (having emailed and got no reply), they said that the couriers had returned the bit to them without notifying either them or me, because they had been unable to find my house. So I gave an alternative address, they said they would locate my parcel and send it straight away. I emailed them twice last week, again no reply, so rang them this morning, they promised to ring me to let me know what was happening. I'd heard nothing by 4pm, so rang them again. They can't find the parcel at the moment, and will ring me tomorrow. I actually don't care what has happened to the original parcel, I have paid for the bit over 4 weeks ago, and I think they should just send me another bit and sort out the problem with their couriers/despatch department themselves, it's nothing to do with me. I shall phone them again tomorrow and threaten them with the power of HHO if I don't get a satisfactory answer!

I refuse to use Derby House. I've tried using them 3 times, but i've never actually recieved anything i've ever ordered from them! I waited 9 months for a horse first aid kit, before cancelling the order. 6 months for some mountain horse boots, before cancelling the order, and 8 months for a rug, before cancelling the order! Ride away everytime, even though it is local to me I still tend to order online because things come so quickly from them, it is easier than having to go the the shop!

I haven't actually had any probelms with Derby House but I'm beginning to think Frogpool Manor has it in for me. Ordered a Cheltenham Gag with nylon cheeks before Christmas and the bit arrived. Then one cheekpiece arrived. So I phoned them up to point out I was missing a cheekpiece and another arrived - minus the rings for the bit to attach to. Phoned up and they said they would immediately send replacements and to send the pair of cheekpieces back in the meantime. I posted them back and 5 days later, no replacements had arrived. Phoned them and they said they would phone me the next day. That was last week. I'll have to phone them again tomorrow...

Now I think I'll send back the bit as well and ask for a refund. If anyone knows where I can get a waterford cheltenham gag with nylon cheekpieces already fitted, please let me know!

I have always used the equestrian clearance warehouse. There products are superb - at rock bottom prices and their delivery service is definitely the best of the lot.
My horses have wardrobes of top quality rugs at a fraction of the original price and I have wardrobes of breeches, boots, jods etc.,
I have tried all the others but since finding equestrian clearance I never look anywhere else.
I cannot fault them.
