I won a riding holiday at Badminton

I’m sadly not going to Badminton this year but last year I entered a competition when picking up a brochure from Equus Journeys and I won 5 nights at Macatoo in Botswana.

I got back last weekend and it was the most amazing holiday, the camp is incredible, cantering through the floodwaters was great fun and I saw so much wildlife.

I was always skeptical of if people actually win these things and was joking right up until the day before that there would be no one to meet me at the airport. So for everyone going to badminton this week, enter those competitions because people do actually win them!

And if anyone has been considering going to Macatoo, I’d highly recommend it. It’s not cheap but I’ll definitely be going back one day.

What a prize!! Botswana is incredible but those holidays are so, so expensive now.
