I caved in and placed a higher bid 3 mins before the Ebay bidding ended and I won my Taka rug for £87.01 .... only £30.01 more that I had anticipated, but after looking high and low for that 'model' I was desparate (sp) and other peeps told me how good it was I really really wanted it

I do hope that I was not bidding against a fellow HHO member

Well I have now celebrated on my own and have had a BIG quadruple B&C and must go and pay for it

Do you think my old boy will be as pleased as me, I do hope so

PS My Dad gave me £70 for my BD and Xmas pressie so I must go and tell him what I bought with it

I bought one a few months ago as a" buy it now price" of £65 !! they are lovely rugs really thick and cosy

glad you've got what you wanted. Would it really cheese you off if I told you I bought a WB Taka Combo (Red/Beige colour) in Scats this summer reduced to £40? It was just too good to miss!

Yes I am greener than ever with envy as I have a Scats near me and am always in there (buyer rat bat for goodness sake!) and have never seen one in there, and I am one of those sad peeps always looking for a rug bargain

Oh gawd, MadMacher, that's tempting. Really I need a 5ft 9" though as the Fal is 6ft, a bit big, and poss the reason it rubs all pony's mane off!

Well it was on my 13.2hh pony and he is now sold.
Only wore it once last year.

Have I misread something or did you say you used a 6ft Taka on 13.2 pony, cos our 15.1 wears a 6ft Taka! Can you confirm size please, might be interested.
