I was sitting in the lunch room at work today, eating a chocolate bar and popping pills for my bad back, when it hit me "Why do we have such high standards for our horses, but such low standards for ourselves?"
I have a bad back, a belly (not fat by any stretch of the imagination), a tooth that needs looking at and shoes that rub. We wouldn't (or rather shouldn't) let that happen to our horses, so why oh why do we let it happen to ourselves?
(P.s this is meant to be a lighthearted thread, if it wasn't clear
