Got a puppy has been abused horribly by a druggie....wont say too much now but, I will post pics in a few weeks......just over the moon we have found her the most lovely home to a couple who have just lost their beloved mastiff with bone cancer(came with very good vet references).
They origionally wanted the akita but he is gone via akita rescue.

Remind me and I will post pics, in a few weeks she is cute as pie.

I phoned the pound today to see if he was still there as we had an enquiry.....they said akita rescue collected him this am.......they are a very good rescue so I am very happy for him, Im going to e,mail the girl I assessed him for and see....I would assume they had a foster space or a home if they collected him.
I neutered him as he had a retained testicle and he needed doing anyhow

I hate these 'type of people'. I've mentioned before that a friend is an ASBO officer for the council. She is sees this type of thing daily. She tries her very best to rehome who ever she finds. Ma n Pa fostered a dog for a couple of weeks but he was so badly damaged by his early years as a druggies dog that he was never going to make it in a pet home. Thankfully for him we managed to find a working home for him. Her own dog is a rescued greyhound-with bad breath and a windy complaint!!
