I would never ever let my horse wear this!!!

Think the rug companies are trying to outdo eachother with the awful designs and materials. Dont like the Joules turnout atall, looks like stick of rock!

Was about to order one, and then realised I prefered the new colours of the horseware ones :p

I take it you would also hate my cow print one then?

I was actually gonna get one of the cow print ones but I decided to be sensible and get her (Bright pink admittingly)rug repaired. I just cant stand the multi colours on the derby house one and the white, dunno just looks horrid. I liked the Robinsons flower fleece they did but they didnt do big sizes :( Not against funky rugs at all just this one is yuck
 
The Amigos are fab and the java and orange one is really nice. Thinks that the name of the colour - brown and orange. Reminds me of a chocolate orange!
 
Oh crikey, I hope Sami doesn't see this. We HAD to get the blurdy daisy moo rug which Streusel hated so much he ripped it apart within 3 days and is now thrown on a stable floor unrepairable and in disgrace! If she sees this one I will get nagged for weeks until she wears me down and I will blame YOU for putting pics on the site!
 
Last Autumn, I was hacking my horse down the road and a horse in a field was wearing a new, very bright, Joules spotty rug, and my horse freaked out, and wouldn't go past it!

The next time I went past, the rug was covered in a thick layer of grey/brown mud, and looked more normal again. phew!
 
I love the first one, it is funky and colourful. It would go well with Fany's cow print very well! Could not see the 2nd one 'cos the link is broken. I find colourful rugs handy because Captain has plain, so I can grab Fany's easily.

I actually think horses notice which rug they have on, because Cappy has a favourite lite turnout rug, which he seems to prefer over any other. However tbh I think most horses are happy to be warm and dry, the colours etc. are for us not them!
 
Personally think the first 2 rugs are a bit yuck but love the blue Horseware rug! The best i saw once was a very chestnut horse in an Orange Bucas rug! Very clashing!:)
 
i love the cow print rug! but would only buy it for my mini shetland not my TB!! I think you can get away with dressing mini's up in funky prints and you can always say it was the only rug i could get in her size otherwise its a special order and she really needed a rug today.
 
I love the colourful rugs when its foggy outside and your horses are in a large field my mare stands out and I can find her easier, mine as a bright pink rug on in the winter and I can spot her really quickly.
Not sure about the cow print one if they did it in a brown and white I may be tempted with my mare being skewbald it would look funky.
 
I really wanted a cow print rug for my coloured, but my mum pointed out it wouldn't look that fantastic on my cow looking pony, and will make him hard to find when he is turned out in a field full of cows ;)
 
Can't see anything wrong with them TBH.
Not to my taste,but why shouldnt we have some fun and funky stuff in the horseworld? the horses dont give a damn what colour the rugs are-they cover them all in mud just the same :p
