I saw him on saturday when he was judging the racehorse 2 riding horse, and gave the horses a fantastic gallop

Poor Ian, only just saw this when the H&H email came into my inbox.

Sounds like something very sudden but they've managed to catch it quick. Must have been very scary for him & his family at the time.

Best wishes to him for a speedy recovery. A real shame as I was looking forward to seeing him at Scone this weekend and Blair at the end of the month, I guess he'll be out of both of these now.

Thank goodness he was able to make that call. Might be an aneurism in which case surgery wil be needed but after that should be no problems.

My instructor is a very good of the Starks and apparently Ian was kicked in the head by a young horse 10 days ago, knocked out but on regaining conciousness decided he felt fine and never got it checked out. Just shows you never know.
