Ideas please Irritable bowl caused by stress!!! He box walks! Stamps front feet Kicks out behind! Squitty Poop, sometimes. What do you guys think I could feed to de-stress, already on Calmag. All ideas greatly received!:p:p

NAF Pink Powder can help them digest better and I have had good results using it, but ideally you need to try and redress the reasons for him being stressed.
Calmers do not always work if they are magnesium based if they are not lacking in the first place.

As be-positive says - mag. based calmers only work if the horse is magnesium deficient. It sounds as though your horse would like to be turned out more and able to wander about as he pleases instead of box-walking. Would this be possible? The ideal would be 24/7 turnout, but this is not always available I know.

If he is stressed it's more than likely that he may have ulcers, which are much more common in horses (not just race, competition horses) than people realise. Have a word with your vet about scoping him.

No ulcers, bloods completly clear, vets dont think any need to scope its his hind gut that is all wrong, he is already on pre/pro and live balancer. He can get just as stressed outside.

OK - have you tried calmers that contain tryptothan (sp?) like Blue Chip Karma? Tryptothan works on the brain, giving a "feel good" effect, so may help to improve the stress levels your horse is experiencing.

Sure no probs will let you know. He has been in for the past 3 days due to the weather up here and he is so much more settled in than out, its just going to be a long process of seeing what works, I am desperate to get some bowen/kinesiology done but hte vets say not for the next 3 weeks we want to learn from him!!!!!

No toxins, liver, kidneys working properly bloods all clear and he is on Charcoal to mop up toxins. He has been in for the past 4 days and is much happier and much more chilled, he obviously doesnt like the cold!!
