Has any one got a horse with ibs??? What do you feed them?? Any additives?

From your post in Veterinary sounds like you have a very uncomfortable horse.

Hopefully your vet comes up with a solution but Yea-sacc is probably the best to maximise fibre digestion

Hi Cuffey, thank you for that, he is already on that, its pre pro and live. The vet mentioned today about changing his diet!!! What to I have no idea as he is only on Hay and Clamer Chaff

Have you tried contacting any feed companies for advice,Allen and Page are very helpful or Simple systems.
I would be inclined to think of easily digested fibre feeds,fast fibre or speedy beet as a partial hay replacer so that the gut is not working so hard, I am not a vet or nutritionist but that would be my instinct.

That will be my next port of call. He cant have speedi beat tried that it didnt agree with him and he wouldnt eat it!!! I have brought a tube of Quick Fix will give him that over the next few days, ordered a tub of Charcoal. I think he is more of a stress head than he shows
