After a nod from a mate, I bought some wine cooler wraps in place of equine cool wraps. The seller was puzzled as to why I wanted the width measurements 
My boy, as you can see is a chunky feathered thing and these wraps are fab, 15 inches wide (forgive the filth, he's on box rest and likes to lie in his own poo! ) For a finer horse, they'd need to have more Velcro glued on so they don't fall off: we tried them on a fine wb and they were massive on him!
Ever so handy for minor injuries/cold compression and an awful lot cheaper than the horse version!
