Noticed last week my dog was licking her paw pads, which looked sore & blistered, cleaned them & put a cone on her head & kept an eye on her for a week, no walks etc. Front feet healed on their own but back pads weren't healing properly, after a week took her to the vet which was last Tues, he thought they were burns from either ice/snow or chemical burns perhaps from walking on salt/grit which we did have down at the stables..she's been on antibiotics & anti inflamatory drugs which she finishes tomorrow along with bathing them in salt water twice per day.. They are looking better, have dried up & have scabs on.. Are still pink, haven't yet healed enough to go back to her normal black paw pads.. She is still wearing the cone which thankfully she's not bothered by.. Just wondered if there's anything more I can do & how long roughly they take to heal.. This is the first time she's ever had this & goes out in the snow every winter.. Thanks

Hotter ones are good, but make sure they stay on, using effective velcro/lacing/design for your particular version of dog! Google dog boots and various sites come up, amongst them hotter. Hope you get some you like.
