Hi All.

I am going to look at a 3.5t Citroen Relay that has been converted by ICE Horseboxes.

Does anyone have any experience with with of these Manufacturers please? Good and bad feedback welcome :-)
 
No knowledge, but I saw one of their lorries the other day and thought it looked very nice. Given one of the other threads that are running definitely get a weight certificate for it to see what the payload is and if it’s await certificate they have obtained, ask what was in the lorry when it was weighed ie did it have a full tank of fuel and had anything being taken out.
 
What is the design like inside. I helped someone olad a very difficult pony into an ICE horsebox 3.5 ton. To be honest I was not surprised the pony didn't want to go in, he was so squashed in with hardly any room at his head and a very short stall. Also another horse up as well. When the ramp went up it must have been very very clostrophobic for both horses.
 
ICE are considered medium class, albeit the higher end of medium class. The design/layout will vary as they are often built for an individual's spec
 
It's also worth doing an MOT check on the vehicle if you haven't already :)

To build on what Humblepie said - I went with the seller to the weighbridge when I was buying my lorry so that I knew exactly what was in it when it was weighed.
 
I'd just like to 3rd the weighbridge. A lady at my old yard sold her 3.5t with a weight cert and she took everything out first including the partition and the rubber matting!

Thanks All, i have bought the lorry subject to the weighbridge certificate which the seller is going to get in the morning.

Its everything i want in a lorry and the MOT has only just been done (End of June) :)
