I'm very pleased Romy will be out competing again.

I understand the boots come in pairs, therefore does one need two pairs to work on all legs at the same time?

Hi there! Yes, they come in pairs. Ordinarily the hind legs are more prone to added pressure so I would be inclined to use them on the hinds but obviously if your horse was returning from an injury on the front you should use them on the front. And depending on your horse, I think I would go for the smaller size on the fronts because the xtra full are pretty big. Even though my horse is 17.2, he isn't exactly big boned so the xtra full are perfect for his hinds but I probably would go the size down for his front legs if I were to buy a second pair.
