Thinking about the up and coming event season I am deliberating on cooling boots.

Have used the Aerborn cool boots for years, but they have finally given up the ghost, so do I replace with the same again, or try Premier Equine ones (20% reduction today) or do I splash out on Ice Vibe?

Any help greatly appreciated :)

Can't help with the question because haven't tried Ice Vibe boots, but just wanted to say it did tickle me that in being prepared to be persuaded between the two options you're doing your best to ensure you live up to your name :) :)

I love my ice vibes. I've been using them on my horses injury and her leg looks amazing. A really good piece of equipment

I have both - I prefer the ice vibes but I have cold water boots in case I don't have the ice packs to hand. I also use the ice vibes without the ice packs sometimes especially after a longish journey to get the circulation going when they don't need to be cooled.

I've both aerborn and ice vibes :)

I got the ice vibes at rds (got a great deal!) but I got the extra full ones as I wanted to use them front and back. Interestingly billy dosent like the ice vibe and cool pack behind (cool packs straight from freezer) but likes the vibrations. He is fine with them in front! Very strange horse lol but I think they are just too cold for him out of freezer. I'd imagine by the time the cool packs are used at an event after xc they will be not as cold so he should tolerate them better. I haven't used them eventing yet though but so far so good and having positive results with the vibes only!

The aerborn boots are good as well but I find they only stay cold for 30mins! :)

I always live up to my name:) with 5 horses in the family its a foregone conclusion :)

Thanks for the replies, I think the ice vibe will win, as they sound like they may help the older mare on a daily basis, so spending more money may save me some...........well that's what I tell the OH :)

I have both as well!

I'm not an eventer but my dressage horses have their legs iced and cold booted a few times a week. One of them is recovering from check ligament injury and she has the ice vibes on every time after I've ridden.

Both are really good but if you have the money id get the ice vibes
