Anyone any good at finding info on horses by names? I've tried and I'm useless, above is my mares dam & sire and I'm just curious to see what I can find out about them (with a little help from somebody who can actually find things😛)

I managed to find info on henbit but I'm wondering if there could have been 2 (Queens Castle) ? I'm not sure how it works with racing names so I don't know if that's possible. My mare's passport name is Holycross Turners Queen
 
I cannot find any racing record of the mare called Queens castle either in Ireland or here, so it is likely she never raced, she is not listed as a progeny of Henbit so may never have been fully registered, a few links below that you may not have found yet, I suspect the mare was not fully registered as possibly too small to race, your mare was jumped as a pony which considering she is half ID suggests the mare she was out of was small and not likely to breed anything suited to racing. You need to register with capalloir to look at the details fully but this should get you started, you may find some siblings on there.

Thanks everyone. I knew about the showjumping record as the stamps are in her passport. The rest confuses me. I'll have a look at the links above. I don't suppose it really matters where she came from at this stage in the game, she's 17, just me being nosey really. 😊
