ID Enthusiasts - Rebelara RIP

Hi, i'm absolutely gutted, ive just read in horse deals that the magnificent Rebelara died last month. He was the one stallion that stood out to me for my ID mare but we couldnt decide whether to put her in foal this year or next. Ive been on the IDHS webside and there was a statement issued but doesnt say what had happend to him, does anybody know?

Anyway deepest condolences to Alison and the team from all of us in Crook.

That's the first I've heard of him passing - that's very sad

I looked at the stud's website and they don't say anything other then it was sudden

I heard he had a heart attack whilst they were collecting for the next batch of AI. I don't quite know the technical terms as I have no idea about horse breeding etc.

Hi akelly, I know its terribly sad he was a wonderful horse and by all accounts had a lovely nature too.

Hi Leoloobylou, thanks for that, I just wondered how it had happened thats all, poor boy, he's going to be a big loss to the breed.

I'd checked on the site too and just got the message that he'd died suddenly.

Oh no! what a shame - he was truly one of the best ID stallions around - along with Touch of the Blues who's gone off to the US!!!
