Ideal event saddle

Any one have any views on them or have one?

My saddler says he has one that he will drop of for me to try, says it has an overgirth fitted in or something

isn't the ideal event a GP saddle, I'd have thought you would want a pure jumping saddle.

Apparently it is a single flap saddle!!

I had a sit on one once and personally I didn't like it as it was too close contact and had pretty small blocks. As long as you have a very secure seat though you should be alright. I prefer saddles with big blocks.

I tried this saddle but didnt like it at all, just didnt feel like there was anything inbetween your legs - if you know what I mean !! But it totally depends on what you like - it was just that close contact wasnt for me!

This ideal is BRILLIANT - I absolutely adored mine, but it wouldn't fit P so I sold it to Super_Kat who equally adores it..

I had an Ideal Event saddle, but it wasnt a single flap and didnt have any sort of overgirth...... Either way, it was a decent saddle and did the job fine. Maybe mine was an older version or something?
