Any opinions on this saddle please?

I've lost my heart to an absolutely immaculate second hand one. It fits my horse as if made to measure and looks stunning on her but isn't the most comfortable dressage saddle I've ever sat in.

I'm tempted to get it because of the beautiful fit on my slightly awkwardly shaped mare (it was one of 15 we tried

) and I reckon I'll get used to it.

What do you think? Am I mad?

ISH - At £450 it is a good price for almost new by comparison to what's on ebay.

But it's still £450 of hard earned cash

I really do love them and if Sol wasnt changing shape constantly (4yo)
She would have one
If it fits you and your mare and you can justify the money BUY IT

Or keep looking for another one thats abit comfier !

There is no point buying a saddle that doesnt fit you both perfectly. You will come to regret it if you buy it and find it doesnt help with you riding. Ideal do alot of other saddles that may fit her as well and you better

Mayeb try the Ideal Roella which has a slightly narrower twist to it - love that saddle got one myself.

I love mine so much so that I've even taken to hacking in it! I wasn't the biggest fan when I bought it - personally I wanted an Albion K2 but money didn't allow so I got the Ideal Jessica. Within a month I loved it. It holds me secure and I find it very comfy.

I personally didn't feel comfy in the Ideal Jessica. I tried a brand new one against a second hand Albion SLK....I went for the slightly more expensive Albion
