Please help because I'm being driven mad thinking about it! My saddle fitter has said that my new horse's shape will suit an Ideal Suzannah tree because he's extra wide and flat backed. He's a 15.3 chunky overgrown Connemara. I'd like to change from my dressage cut saddle to a VSD but I'm struggling to find anything second hand that will suit and I simply can't afford a made to measure Ideal. I have however found an Ideal VSD cut on a Jessica tree. As far as I can make out they are both quite a flat tree. Can anyone tell me the difference please? Is there much difference? Any experiences with either saddle?
