Has anyone had an Ideal saddle Made to Measure?

I am after a new jump saddle for my boy who is a slightly strange shape and these have been suggested to me. Years ago I had a Jessica dressage which I loved but have no experience of their jump saddles or indeed if the M2M service is good.

Any experiences please

I have but it was done through a saddler as the off the peg sizes didn't fit. I'm pleased with the result. not sure how the made to measure service itself works though

They're a fairly standard UK brand with a wide range of trees, they're about on standard with value for money, not top quality but okay for the price, and do have lots of options. As few fitters keep stock most are made to order if not made to measure. I'm not the absolute biggest fan of their tree shapes but they work well enough for many horses and if you have a good fitter you trust who will spec and fit the saddle then you should be fine.

I have one made to measure - my saddler designed it for my horse, with the support of Ideal themselves (photos, templates etc). Mine is sort of a Jessica (dressage), but with a few changes (e.g. monoflap, flatter seat, smaller blocks) and a flatter wider tree than usual. Really pleased with it.

I've had an Impala for 10 years and still love it. Great to hack in as well as jumping. I also have Roella dressage saddle m2m which I'm equally pleased with.
