Ideas for a camera pole

We have a reolink solar 4g camera that we want to mount to keep an eye on the horses.

My original plan was to mount it to the stables but the more I've thought about it, really I want to mount it away from the stables looking towards the stables.

I need some kind of pole for it to go on though as there is nothing else to mount it to. Has anyone mounted theirs like this? What did you find to mount it to?

Mine is just attached to a fencing rail turned upright so I can move it around where I want (to cover different fields etc) I've screwed it and the solar panel in and then I just tie the rail to a part of the fence with baler twine. Low tech, does an excellent job!

So it's that just a standard 3.6m fence rail? How thick of a rail is it? Does it wobble in the wind?

Yep, it's just a standard rail 4x2”. It does wobble a bit in strong winds but otherwise does a great job
