I want to start competing in cross country some time next year but have no idea what colours to use I have a 16.3hh black ISH who's name is Dante's Greyjoy (more commonly known as Dannyboy :) ). I wanted to include grey and/or blue but I'm not sure if that'll look good.
What do you think?
thanks x

I would thoroughly recommend a Racesafe BP, and have that custom made to your colours. You always wear the BP on top of any shirt, so it makes more sense to me to have your colours on that.

I just wear my white shirt/stock under the BP. I prefer a stock anyway, it really is an emergency bandage, as proved by a colleague whose horse fell into a XC fence and nicked an artery. The vet was reasonably quick, but by the time the vet was there she had already whipped the stock off and done a field dressing. Even so the horse lost a lot of blood.

With the Racesafe you can have air incorporated, or you can get coloured air jackets as well now. Team with a matching silk and saddle cloth and you will look magic!

I had a racesafe set for my birthday. I love it! I had a hot pink body protector and a turquoise shirt with hot pink stars and a matching hat silk with a pink pom! My horse is piebald...so hot pink nummnah and fly veil 😊

This, use blue as a the base colour and the metallic silver for stars (or whatever design you choose) as it looks near to grey. I really like the navy with silver diamonds!.

This is where I've just got mine from, I really like it and it's so easy to use. Although a, now thinking maybe I should have gone navy too to match by bp, but I do quite like the royal blue I used as a base. With silver stars too ! Blacks go with most colours though so you've got lots of choice.
