Does anyone have any ideas for things to do to put a bit of fun into life for horse and me? (Bit of a wimp so not too keen on jumping). Think we’re both a bit bored of schooling and lessons.
I’m thinking I’ll box him to some new places to hack but could do with some more ideas.
Thanks in advance.

Trek? You can play around at home recreating some of the obstacles and then compete if you want to. I did it one year just for a change from jumping. I didnt find it adrenalin fueled enough personally to carry on but it was something different. Or try endurance?

Yes definitely try Le Trec, There is an instructor near us who you can send your video of you doing obstacles. She also does clinics and she's lovely

We were up to long reining XC today! Assuming pretty established on the long reins great fun.

So much effort :p I like doing xc from the ground though - I just do it on a long line so I don't have to keep up so much ;)

Trec is great for obstacles in hand and mounted. As are some of the western games, American extreme trail horse / cowboy competition obstacles. Or arms work - tent pegging, archery, combat games? Youtube is your friend here - if you can dream it, someone out there has probably tried it (quite possibly me :p ), and posted in online for inspiration!

clicker training! Horses love it and you can use it for useful stuff or just have fun and teach them tricks. My previously little cob used to do a terrible, stompy spanish walk which I though was hilarious and he thought was great fun!
