The newbie has a dust allergy!! He is on cardboard bedding now and they were soaking his hay.He doesn't LIKE soaked hay!!!!Their haylage seems ok to me but its big bale and I am told that the quality is a bit variable. I am having to give the odd dose of ventapulmin, cost £54 a canister. He will be coming in overnight very soon, up to now has been out about 18 hours a day. Wondered about small packaged haylage.I know some can be rocket fuel.Don't want that as his manners and temperament (excellent) are very important to me.Any sugestions for makes/varieties?

You could try the horsehage happy hoof/high fibre haylage (blue bags). I found that great for my old horse with RAO and its designed not to hot them up too much
