I am getting my new horse Friday. He is called 'My Obsession' and his stable name is 'Mobs'..... I get the impression that his stable name is not used too much, so do not think he is too used to being called this.

I am not sure if I like this name and have been trying to think of something else....... I am not overly good at it! He is a dude & is Mr Cool

, so his name needs to reflect this!

I have until Thursday when I need to insure him, as I insure them under the stable name.

A bit about him:
16.1hh/16.2hh
Bay
TB
very straightforward. He's easy to do anything with. Riding-wise he's quite active - ie brisk walker etc - but is very quiet and sensible. He's just a perky, nice horse.

Solly
Toro
Senna (if he's fast!!

)

In my experience though, you will find a name for him almost instantly when he's with you. Ellie was called Chicka when I got her, which I hated, but she didnt answer to it so I started thinking of all sorts of fancy names. Then I looked at her and decided she was Ellie; simple, but sweet!

A name will come to you I am sure once he is with you. I knew a young tb called Ernie...I just loved calling his name out in the field. Also Alfie I think is nice for a tb chappie.
I also like Mr Man (name I gave one of my mums cats!!)...you can put alot of emphasis in that name depending on what he is doing!!!
Another young tb was called Monty, which was nice..he was a lovely youngster.
My mare was called Lily when I got her...she is jet black...not really appropriate!!!

O B. (like say each letter) its short and straightforward like him, whilst relating to his show name!

Also... if you have to mark all your buckets, tack, rugs ect it wuill be cheap on the personalisation!!

Oddly enough he looks very like my horse, your's just has more forelock, so I agree that Oscar suits him as thats my boys name, and a more laid back TB would be hard to find! Good luck with him whateer you call him.

He looks gorgeous, I'll bet you can't wait to get him home. Think someone has already suggested it but I like:
Fonz
plus:

Dude
Mikey
Jake
Max
Trevor

Let us know what you decide and good luck with your gorgeous boy
