Ideas for Kids fancy dress .....

So as title says really ....

Thinking of taking tommy tucker and tiarnan to a wee show on sunday , Hes still on loan but the lady that has him at the riding school doesnt use him on a sunday so toying with the idea of taking tiarnan and cormac and the pony out for the day .

So perhaps use the whole 3 of them in the fancy dress ie 2 boys and the pony .

My mind has gone blank , So if you have any ideas please post below

My daughter and her friend went to a fancy dress on our pony as Dorothy and the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz. The pony was the yellow brick road wearing a length of cheap yellow cotton with a brick pattern drawn on in black marker pen and tied on with yellow ribbon.

Scarecrow costume would be fairly easy to make for one of the boys - sew some patches on an old jacket, bit of straw sticking out, same with some old trousers - the other one could be the Lion or the Tinman or a Munchkin perhaps?

On the assumption you can pursuade one of your boys to dress up as a pregnant Mary?

How about that song by Rolf Harris, Two Little Boys? They could dress up as soldiers and have little toy horses with them

One fairly easy to do, jeans and plaid shirt for a cowboy, with hat, guns and gun belt. Lots of face paint for the indian, beige jods, a beige top cut around the bottom and a bead belt,a band with a feather for headress, a tomahawk and a bow and arrow?? A western looking saddle blanket and the noseband removed from bridle (IF safe pony!!) and voila a Cowboy and Indian ??
