Every christmas our yard has a fancy dress xmas ride. I need ideas for me and pony's outfit (he's ginger and white if that helps)

Last year I went as an angel (my mum gave me her wedding dress...god knows why!? :P) which would have looked awesome on my black horse, but the great galumph decided to injure herself so I ended up on a chestnut, definately didn't work as well as it could of done!

All ideas welcome!

And another question. For xmas I want a personalised numnah but what colours go with ginger and white???

Thanks guys!

If he's quiet try being a tree. We did it with our daughter and her Pie. Plus green looks good on the ginger bits!

Use a green bedsheet (v cheap from Tescos) and fold it up under the saddle either as an exercise sheet shape or all the way around pinned at the front as a rug shape. The wrap loads of small boxes in glittery paper and string them around both you and the horse as presents. Then decorate further with tinsel and even a string of battery powered lights if you have them. (Poundland is good. The decorations won't be worth much when you're done with them.) Get one of those star deanie boppers or headbands for pony and one for you. Or a green tree hat silk if you can find one. Wrap tinsel all around your legs like chaps. (You can secure it with those elastic bands that the postman leaves all over our front path.)

It helps if you have someone else to drape you once you're on board! And don't fall off!
