After successfully tracking down Toff's sire I have decided to try her dam, however unlike her sire, she isn't registered etc so it is virtually impossible. Can anybody think of any ways I can go about this? All I know is she is a spotted mare called Maisie and I have a service certificate from when she was covered. I have written to her owner/Toff's breeder but had no reply, although I think she has moved house. I would love some info/photos of Toffee as a foal.
Am I trying the impossible??!

Hmm, well I suppose you could put piccies up on all the forums and then,,,umm, how about the magazines? Your Horses etc? Do they still do a tracing horses section?

We could almost do with a "Horses reunited" website. lol

Possibly contact the Spotted Horse society or whatever it is called in case they can help? Is there a Spotty Horse Forum at all? Electoral Roll? Hmmmmmm, not much else I can think of that hasn't been suggested.
Good luck anyway.

Putting her details on sites like these - as many as you can.

I traced an unregistered gelding I owned 12 yrs ago through a forum. Although he had a freezemark, so that made definate identification easier.
