Ideas for water proof dog bed.

I have 4 gsds that life outside on my farm, their normal bedding in a barn is a large bedding quilt now its winter it gets wet so I turn it over to the dry side, has any one got a waterproof bed for their dogs that they can recommend, I had an idea of getting a king size matterase {sp} and putting a waterproof cover over It, would that work??

Do dogs dry off lying on a waterproof survise, as I don't fancy them being wet all time.

Tuffies dog beds are waterproof, they are expensive but do last for a long time. A cheaper option would be vet beds, the water soaks through so the dog stays dry, and if you had a few you could rotate them so they always had a dry bed.
