TB plus gypsy cob? (dash of trotter?). I've got mare v similar in all ways except short legs. I think she has a little welsh pony in her (she's 14.3)

The legs and short body suggest a bit of cob, the long neck TB? Still looks like he has some growing to do so maybe something like ID in there? Nice bit of bone though!

intersting that someone as said tbxwelsh as i saw horse at local show looked very similar and that was tbxwelsh but then i thort were does the colour come from or is that just me being thick

have also had ppl say he could have german warmblood in him due to colour bit of a mystery i think hes got a great laid back nature esp for his age

He's not unlike my horse who's a registered welsh D x tb. I would say some sort of cob x tb.

The colour in my lad is from Lucky Dealer who is 7/8ths tb. You're right though- both welsh cobs and tbs are solid colours only for registration.

i would go by TBxcoloured cob out of a welsh cob.
he looks like he's been bred the right way round (i.e blood onto bone) because his legs match the rest of his bone structure, and the coloured bit is most likely to come from his father, and his calm temperament from his mum.
he looks about 4 ish to me.
what a handsome lad!
