Anyone have any good ideas for a recipe for home made mane and tail detangler?

Saw a recommendation for pledge furniture polish on another post

which made me wonder what else can be used

I think somebody on here mentionedf watered down cheapo hair conditioner in a spray bottle?

I use kids spray leave in conditioner from Tesco. 79p per bottle, not sure how many mls but quite small. Smells fab!

I got a list of recipes etc. There is one for detangler. Mix one Calgon bath oil bead with three parts water. Never heard of Calgon bath oil beads. Looking at some of the things i think it is American.
