Identify saddle anyone??

Friend has just bought a very nice secondhand saddle for her pony but am unsure which manufacturer it is. To my eye it looks like an 'Ideal' but I may be wrong. It has a security number embossed on the panel plus a button which reads 'Origin' where the makers plate usually sits. The panel is embossed as made in Walsall. Its a dressage/WH cut.

Its a quality saddle I have no doubt and is beautifully made, soft stuffed with wide bearing panels and I reckon she has got a bargain but we could do with identifying it.

Anyone??
 
Sounds like one Barry Barker would have had made for someone. Yes it will be a quality saddle probably based on an ideal

I used to work for him and sometimes he had saddles made for a customer that could not afford an Ideal one
 
Interesting thank you. I thought my eye was right with Ideal and it would make sense if its one of Barrys. Cheers guys. x
