I bought my 10yo ISH horse from a reputable dealer two (nearly three) years ago. He’s an absolute sweetheart. Never sick or sorry, brave and bold, in short I’m very lucky to have him. When I bought him I had him 5 star vetted as I do with all my horses. About 4 months later I found two scars one on each hind leg just above his coronet, they are very difficult to see, the scars are about an inch and a half long, dead straight and raised. He came with very little history, I was told a lady bred him in Ireland and he grew too big so was a field ornament for years until she finally traded him for a smaller cob. (Not sure I believe any of that but there you go!)
I’ve done a bit of research but nothing I’ve found quite fits him, he seems to be able to feel his feet and legs, doesn’t struggle jumping.
Anyone got any ideas on what they could be from?
