My WOW saddle has sat for a few years now untouched. I need to sell it but I have no idea how to identify all the parts! I figure if I sell off in parts Ill make more money and easier to sell than selling it as a whole. Im not really willing to post an entire saddle that cost me over £1,500 either. Is there a website I can try to work out what parts I have and also how on earth I value them all??

Can you take it apart to find the serial numbers (written on them)? WOW head office will then give you all the details.

I stalk the Facebook 2nd hand sites for prices.

Ok great will do, I didnt know head office would help. Having never taken it apart myself (my fitter dealt with it), do I literally just unbolt everything?

YouTube is your friend! Plus take photographs as you go through in case you need to remember where something came from. WOW have a tonne of videos so I'd start with removing / changing flaps, then the panels. Once they're off you can see all the serial numbers.

A small electric screwdriver is needed and as you unscrew and separate bits then put the screws back on the bolts again so you know exactly what has come from where. If you're selling in parts then all the right bolts need to go with the part.

Good luck with WOW head office, when I did the same thing they pretty well accused me of stealing the saddle and asking for info on the exact spec of saddle parts. Less then helpful even when I convinced them it was a saddle I had bought through one of their fitters!

Taking it apart is pretty easy, should be a YouTube demo.

I emailed WOW for info on a saddle I bought 2nd hand and needed to sell on the seat. They came back same day with the seat info when I gave them the serial number.

I found them completely professional
