During my insomniacal browsing of t'internet, I found this, relating to the Asian Games in China.
I thought it was a very simple guide to Equestrian Sports, in terms everyone ***should *** be able to understand!

Equestrian Cross Country Event in which the horse has to pass through a long route with lot of obstacles.

Equestrian Jumping is a 90m x 60m jumping event over the various obstacles situated in the track.

Equestrian Dressage or Equestrian Ballet is a good event in which the horse performs various steps and movements with its rider on top who guides it.

Wait whats an 'obstacle'

I think they should do one of these for caring for horses in the winter, it would save about 1000 threads asking what rug to put on etc getting a bit annoying now

warm = no rug
cold and dry = light rug
wet and warm = light rug
wet and cold = med rug
wet and very cold = heavy rug

DARN two syllables in heavy and is med cheating!
